The St. Peter and St. Paul Cathedral[1] (Spanish: Catedral de San Pedro y San Pablo de Maracaibo) or just Maracaibo Cathedral is the main church of Maracaibo[2] in Zulia state in Venezuela.[3][4] It is a building of the seventeenth century. His appointment Cathedral was conducted by Bula of Pope Leo XIII on 25 July 1897 and is together with the Archbishop's Palace, the seat of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Maracaibo.

It is located in the Bolivar Square, the historic heart of the city of Maracaibo, head and mother of all churches in the Archdiocese is a compendium of history and traditions. His style is neoclassical colonial, unique in the city, since such buildings are very few in Latin America. It was built between 1585 and 1650.
