Dignity Health - St. Rose Dominican's Rose de Lima Campus is a 220,000-square-foot (20,000 m2), 119-bed hospital owned and operated by Dignity Health that is located in Henderson, Nevada.

History

The first of the three St. Rose Dominican hospitals, the Rose de Lima Campus was established in 1947 when the Adrian Dominican Sisters of Adrian, Michigan, purchased Basic Magnesium Hospital from the U.S. government for $1 a year for 25 years. A $25 million, 4-story expansion was completed in 1991.

St. Rose Dominican's Rose de Lima Campus was the first fully accredited hospital in southern Nevada.

Dignity Health - St. Rose Dominican is the only not-for-profit, faith-based hospital system in southern Nevada and consists of three campuses – Rose de Lima, Siena and San Martín. As a mission driven hospital system, St. Rose is guided by the vision and core values of the Adrian Dominican Sisters and Dignity Health system. One of the nation’s five largest health care systems, Dignity Health is a 21-state network of nearly 9,000 physicians, 55,000 employees, and more than 380 care centers, including hospitals, urgent and occupational care, imaging centers, home health, and primary care clinics. Headquartered in San Francisco, Dignity Health is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality and affordable patient-centered care with special attention to the poor and underserved. As the community grows, St. Rose’s mission is to continue to serve all people in need.
