As such, it has many large monuments, statues, sculptures, and other artistic pieces spread throughout its five boroughs: Manhattan, Brooklyn, Staten Island, Queens, and the Bronx. Any statue listed here is considered to be "any three-dimensional or roughly three-dimensional object which shape was generated by an individual or group of individuals with the specific intent to convery artistic, historic, and/or cultural meaning."
