Stefan M. Pulst is Chairman of the Department of Neurology at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. He was chair of the science committee of the American Academy of Neurology , currently chairs the Meeting Management Committee and serves on the Board of Directors. His research involves ataxia, especially SCA2, SCA13, and other genetic conditions that affect the nervous system.
He is recipient of the George C. Cotzias award from the American Academy of Neurology and the Senator Jacob Javits award from NINDS.
