Stefanie is Singaporean Mandopop artist Stefanie Sun's (Chinese: 孫燕姿) eighth Mandarin studio album. It was released on 29 October 2004 by Warner Music Taiwan.[1] This album was released after Sun took a break from her singing career. She returned with this new album, self-titled as 'Stefanie' to reflect the fact that she is coming back with a fresh attitude.

The album features "我也很想他" (I Miss Him Too), the Mandarin theme song used in Taiwan for Japanese film Socrates in Love.

Reception

The track, "我的愛" (My Love) won one of the Top 10 Songs of the Year at the 2005 HITO Radio Music Awards presented by Taiwanese radio station Hit FM,[2] as well as one of the Top 10 Gold Songs at the Hong Kong TVB8 Awards, presented by television station TVB8, in 2005. Another track "奔" (Run) was also nominated at the TVB8 award.[3]

The album was awarded one of the Top 10 Selling Mandarin Albums of the Year at the 2004 IFPI Hong Kong Album Sales Awards, presented by the Hong Kong branch of IFPI.[4] It was also nominated for four awards at the 16th Golden Melody Awards in 2005, including Best Mandarin Album.[5] It won Best Mandarin Female Singer for Sun for her work on this album.[6]
