Stephen Eze is a Nigerian football player. He began his football career with Lobi Stars F.C. in 2010. He was promoted to Lobi Stars F.C. Team A in 2012.

He played regularly during two seasons with the Lobi Stars. His performances caught the eyes of scouts from Sunshine Stars FC and in 2014 he was signed by Sunshine Stars F.C..

Eze was bought by Sunshine Stars to replace Godfrey Oboabona who had moved to the Turkish super league club Çaykur Rizespor. He went into the first team and helped the team lead the Nigeria premier league for most of the season.

Eze was invited to play for the national team. He was named in the final 23 man Nigeria Super Eagles B team who played in the Caf CHAN 2016, led by Coach Sunday Oliseh. Eze played all the group games, but the team was eliminated in the first round. His performances led to an invitation to the Super Eagles A team.

His performance in Rwanda and exploits in the Nigerian League led to an invitation by MS Asdod FC of Israel. [1][2]
