Dr. Suborno Bose, a CA by education and Founder of several successful ventures including IIHM and IAM under Indismart Group which is based in India.[1] Honoured with 3 Doctorates by UK.
Early life
A First generation Entrepreneur, Bose was born in the year 1963 to a middle class Bengali family in Kolkata. He completed his class 12 from South Point School. Thereafter, he studied commerce at St. Xavier's College. At the same time he did his CA and completed the course successfully at the age of 23.
Career
He opened a teaching firm called Bose Associates in his house at Tollygunj after completing his CA course to conduct classes in chartered accountancy in four to five batches of 30 to 35 students each, seven days a week.[2]
In 1989 he launched a business management school called the Institute of Advanced Management and established the International Institute of Hotel Management in 1994.IIHM is today regarded as one of the key leaders in the field of international hospitality management education in India. IIHM offers its students the opportunity to graduate with a degree from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh.[3][4]
Dr. Suborno Bose is Managing Director of Zoom Enterprises Limited and founder of Young Chef School Competition and International Young Chef Olympiad.[5]
