Sugo Music Group is a San Francisco based independent music and video distribution, manufacturing, marketing, and sales company that works with independent artists, labels, and other music content providers[3] to distribute content through various channels, music stores, big box retailers, gift shops,[4] wholesalers, TV, Internet and mobile.[5] The company offers its technical, marketing, and distribution services to a wide range of independent artists and labels from all genres.[6][7][8]
History
Sugo Music Group, a privately held company, was founded by CEO Stevan Pasero and Digeann Cabrell Pasero, and has been operating since 1983. They are also the founders of Solea Group, Granada Studios, PaseroMusicGroup and NEN Music. Sugo Music Group’s main office is based in Half Moon Bay, CA, USA, but the distribution team is international: it comprises music industry experts, content managers and programmers. Through the years, Sugo Music Group has distributed, licensed, or provided services for several types of music media and music formats including vinyl, cassette, compact disc, download, streaming, and digital broadcasting.[9] Sugo Music’s distribution portfolio includes artists, labels, licensors, and audio libraries, and its products are delivered to 125 countries.[10] Sugo Music Group provides two distribution packages which include an exclusive Global Distribution Package and a non-exclusive A-La-Carte Service.[11] Sugo Music distributes well known artists and labels such as such as Art Farmer, All-4-One, Sandi Patty, Oleta Adams, Nancy Lamott, Natalie Cole, B. J. Thomas, Tony Bennett, Eric Marienthal, Vanessa Williams, Cedar Walton, Kathy Troccoli, Paulette McWilliams, Willie Nelson, Kazuhito Yamashita, Mimi Fox, The Pointer Sisters, Charlie Parker, Shana Tucker, Hall & Oates, Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, D.
