Suwannee Hulaween is an annual music festival with a Halloween theme held since 2013 at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, FL The festival is hosted and headlined by The String Cheese Incident. Suwannee Hulaween is managed by Silver Wrapper and Purple Hat Productions [1][2]

Overview

The festival, hosted by the The String Cheese Incident and managed by Silver Wrapper and Purple Hat Productions, is held outdoors on four stages and allows the attendees to camp onsite for the weekend. The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park campground is over 800 acres and offers a wide range of options for camping, RV with full hook ups to cabin rentals to primitive camping. The crowd can be considered a mix of young dance enthusiasts, older jam fans, Dead Heads and those in between. Attendees are encouraged to dress in costume befitting a Halloween dance party. Suwannee Hulaween roams between the four stages: the Main Stage (where The String Cheese Incident plays its two sets each evening, followed by additional headliners. The Amphitheater (another big venue and stage to accommodate additional headliners), Spirit Lake (home to the art installations and silent disco, and where the late night party swings until 5 am.). Finally the nearby Campground Stage (a terrific smaller spot presenting Florida-based bands). The lineup includes approximately 40 artists each year.

As of 2014 Suwanee Hulaween has gone from a three-day to a four day long festival. Even though the official festival is only three days long, many festival goers arrive early for the Thursday Pre-party Kickoff. Which features less well known artists and is typically the night before the opening day of the festival.

Suwannee Hulaween is generally held either the weekend before Halloween or the weekend after. In addition to the headliners The String Cheese Incident , the festival has featured performances by past headliners EOTO, Dumpstaphunk, Joe Russo's Almost Dead, Primus, Pretty Lights, STS9, GRiZ, Big Gigantic, Thievery Corporation, and Slightly Stoopid.[3]
