Svein Ørnulf Ellingsen (born 13 July 1929) is a Norwegian visual artist and hymnist.
He was born in Kongsberg to Fritz Frølich Ellingsen and Karoline Enge. His books include the poetry collections Det skjulte nærvær and Noen må våke, both from 1978, the children's book Regler, rim og revestreker from 1986, and the poetry collections Vårt øye ser mot Betlehem (1987) and Det finnes en dyrebar rose (1989). He received the Fritt Ord Honorary Award in 1992, and was decorated Knight, First Class of the Order of St. Olav in 1995.[1][2]
