Swegon AB is a company which develops, manufactures and markets products and solutions for ventilation and indoor climate systems. Swegon is owned by the Investment AB Latour group. Including foreign sales companies, Swegon has a total of approximately 1250 employees and a turnover of approximately 216 million EUROS (2009).
Swegon has 16 sales offices in Sweden. Export sales are significant and daughter companies are established in Finland, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Belgium, France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Holland, United Kingdom, China, India USA and UAE, together with other countries via partners.
The company's production units and laboratories are in Kvänum, Arvika and Tomelilla in Sweden, and Kaarina in Finland, Cantarana di Cona, Italy, and Mumbai, India.[2]
History
Swegon has its roots in Farex (1932) and Stifab (1974). The two companies merged in 1995 to become Stifab Farex. Stifab Farex and PM Luft merged in 2005 and became Swegon AB.
Expansion
Swegon has its own sales companies and also operates through partners in over 40 countries, including Belgium, Denmark, Dubai/UAE, Estonia, Finland, France, Italy, Holland, Norway, Poland, Switzerland, Slovakia, Spain, United Kingdom, Sweden, Czech Republic, Germany, USA, Austria, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Iceland, Israel, Kazakhstan, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, New Zealand, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovenia, Taiwan, Turkey, Ukraine, Hungary, China, India and Belarus.
