Allamah Syed Qazi Muzainul Haq was a retired Police Officer and Islamic Scholar, expert in hadith, Tafsir and Tarikh. He was living in Wasa Dargah[1]. He is mainly famous for his book Zarbe Yadullahi. He also used to give lectures on Islam. He was very popular in Wasa Dargah and Hallaur as Zakir e Ahlul Bayt[3].
Family background
He traces his lineage from Makhdoom Syed Hisamuddin who is believed to have been migrated from the area of Tous Persian city Mashhad to propagate real Islam in this part of world.[2]He was born in 1937 in Kolkata (then Calcutta). He died on 25 June 2013(15th Shaban 1434) in Wasa Dargah.
Unity Mission(Ittehad Bainul Muslimeen)
Allamah Syed Qazi Muzainul Haq was central figure of the Ittehad Bainul Muslimeen mission in Siddhartha Nagar. His book is proven to be a landmark in this mission.
His Funeral Procession included more than 1500 people,which included followers of various sects of Islam. He was reciting lectures during Moharram and on other occasions.
