Syo Kurokawa (黒川 逍 Kurokawa Shō, July 15, 1926–September 16, 2010)[1] was a noted Japanese lichenologist and 1994 recipient of the Acharius Medal.[1] Kurokawa studied under Mason Hale[2] and Yasuhiko Asahina.[1]
