History

T.J. Maxx Plaza was built in the early 60s when it opened it was originally called Loyal Plaza. And it main tenant was Giant Markets and was so for about thirty years. In 1991 Giant moved down the street to another location down East Third Street. Leaving the spot vacant, so due to structural problems the original building was demolished. And rebuilt the new building attracted the addition of T.J. Maxx the name was changed to T.J. Maxx Plaza and remains the same to today.[1]
