Tahir Veliu (born February 19, 1984) in Drenas,[2] Kosova. Tahir Veliu is an Albanian politician, author and political analyst. He is the president of the newly created Albanian nationwide Movement for United Albania and the author of The Platform for United Albania.

Political life

Tahir Veliu is the leader of the Movement for United Albania, which is active in all Albanian territories.

On July 16, 2016 he was elected as the president of the Movement for United Albania following its founding convention held in Pristina.[3] Because of his activities in all of Albanian territories, he has been declared as persona non grata in Serbia on August 7, 2016,[4] likewise he has been banned from entering Greece on August 13, 2016.[5] Tahir Veliu was arrested by the Greek authorities and subsequently deported to the border crossing of Kakavija, as he was considered a threat to Greece, because of his political views to reunite the Albanian territories into a single Albanian national state - United Albania.
