Taipei College of Maritime Technology (TCMT; Chinese: 台北海洋技術學院) is a private maritime college located in Taiwan.[1]
History
1965 spring, the school founder Wu Cheng-Yung, Dai Xing Ti and Cheng Jie Kan and other initiatives, the creation of 'Maritime College', selected Taipei City the Shihlin District Tamsui River and the Keelung River Interchange school site, to raise funds for acquisition of land, followed by the construction of campus buildings. 1966 in January set up a board of directors, generally acclaimed Wu Cheng-yung, as chairman of the board, and hired wearing Dai Xingti headed headmaster. In March 18 instructions from the Ministry of Education approved filing three subjects, the establishment of nautical, engineering, shipping, and then apply for enrollment, officially opened on March 28. 1967 the Foundation donor Articles of formal registration by the Board.

The China Maritime College badge
In early 1967, in order to meet the anniversary, China Maritime College faculty and students to study design many different versions of the badge final win was Liu Yiqin students whose design is accepted by the teachers and students as the school badge.
