The flights to Kiev were operated with Antonov An-24 until March 2006. Due to air traffic disputes between Moldova and Ukraine the service was halted. After a long period without flights, Tandem Aero flew again to Kiev on 31.08.2006 with an Air Moldova Embraer 120. Later for some time Tandem Aero switched to its Antonov 24RV. As Moldova did not allow Aerosvit to fly on the route Chisinau-Kiev, Ukraine denied Tandem Aero the continuation of its service on this route starting February 6, 2007.

In February 2015, Air Moldova ended its leasing contract with Tandem Aero. Therefore, the Embraer EMB-120 used for it has been phased out while the three operated routes to Sochi, Bucharest and Kyiv were terminated.[2]

Fleet

Tandem Aero operates aircraft leased from Air Moldova, as of July 2016.[3]
