Teba

Teba is a town and municipality located in the province of Málaga in the autonomous community of Andalusia in southern Spain. It is situated in the northeast of the province. It belongs to the comarca of Guadalteba. Located on an outlying spur of the sierras north east of Ronda, some 15 kilometres north of Ardales, and with a population of some 4,300 people. Below the town is the site of the Battle of Teba which took place in 1330 during the Reconquista. Sir James Douglas, a leading associate of King Robert I of Scotland, was killed there.
