Tephrosia elongata is a legume that is native to Africa south of the equator. It occurs from northern and eastern South Africa, to the highlands of Malawi and Tanzania.[1]
Varieties
Three varieties are recognized:[2]
- Tephrosia elongata E.Mey. var. elongata
- Tephrosia elongata E.Mey. var. lasiocaulos Brummitt
- Tephrosia elongata E.Mey. var. tzaneenensis (H.M.L.Forbes) Brummitt
