Thai Bloom was honored with the 2015 Judge’s Choice Award at the Fifth Annual Soup’s on tasting event hosted by the Sisters of St. Mary of Oregon and the City of Beaverton.[8] The annual event features entrants from local restaurants, Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue, and the Beaverton Police Department.[9] Proceeds benefit The Oregon Food Bank.[10] Thai Bloom won the 2014 and 2013 Golden Ladle Awards for previous appearances at this event.[11][12] Assistant Manager Somphone “Sam” Saisiri was named a Washington County Visitors Association Front-Line Hospitality Hero in May 2012.[13]
