Thai Poranthachu is a 2000 Tamil language film directed by R. K. Kalaimani. The film features Prabhu and Kausalya in lead roles whilst Karthik, Vivek and Ponnambalam play supporting roles.[1][2] It was remade in Telugu as Choosoddaam Randi with Srikanth and Rambha in lead roles.[3]Ajay Laxman has acted as a child actor in a song Gopala Gopala. Vivek, while dancing lifts him, and it was not a pre-planned scene.
