The Adventure of Little Ralph (ちっぽけラルフの大冒険 Chippoke Ralph no Daibouken) is a 1999 PlayStation 2D platform game[2][3] It was developed by the New Corporation and released only in Japan.[4] The game's story focuses on Ralph, a man who has been turned into a child who now must save a damsel in distress.

Gameplay

Some boss fights switch to a style of gameplay closer to traditional fighting games such as Street Fighter II.[5]

Development

The game started development for the Sharp X68000 home computer before moving to the PlayStation.[6]

Releases

It was released on June 3, 1999 in Japan only for the PlayStation.[2][3][7]

The game was rereleased on PlayStation Network on July 26, 2007.[8] The game has been known to fetch as high as US$200 on online auction sites such as eBay.[9]

The soundtrack to the game was released in 2009 by EGG Music.[6]

Reception

Famitsu gave the game 26 points out of 40.[10] The game was praised for its high quality graphics and music, and difficulty.[11]
