The Cactus Revisited is a remix album from East Coast hip hop group 3rd Bass. It was released on September 7, 1990, by Def Jam Recordings; one year after 3rd Bass' debut album and one year before its second album. Out of a total seven tracks, it consists of six remixed songs and one unreleased song. Its remixes are by Prince Paul, Dave Dorrell, Marley Marl, and 3rd Bass itself, among others. It received both lackluster commercial and critical reception and is considered to be a patchy diversion, according to Dean Carlson of Allmusic .
