The Exeter Inn

Coordinates: 42°58′40″N 70°57′15″W / 42.97778°N 70.95417°W / 42.97778; -70.95417 The Exeter Inn (also known as The Inn at Exeter) is an inn in Exeter, New Hampshire. Located on Front Street near the Phillips Exeter Academy, the Georgian style complex was built in 1932 and mirrors the school's architectural motif.[1] Guests, which include many parents of Academy students, enjoy its walking distance proximity to historic downtown Exeter.[2]

A previous Exeter Inn had been located on Water Street; one of the town's oldest buildings, it was demolished in 1959.[3][4]

In 2007 new owners undertook a sweeping renovation that significantly changed the 46-room inn's entrances, lobby, and decor.[5][6] The hotel, which frequently hosts events for New Hampshire primary candidates,[5][7][8] is home to the Epoch Restaurant and Bar.[5]
