"The Lord's Prayer" is a musical setting of the Lord's Prayer written by Albert Hay Malotte in 1935 and recorded by numerous singers and groups including John Charles Thomas, Perry Como, Doris Day, Glen Campbell, Gracie Fields, Andrea Bocelli, Mahalia Jackson, Mario Lanza, Johnny Mathis, Elvis Presley, Ronnie Milsap, Vyacheslav Polozov, The Staple Singers, Jackie Evancho, Il Divo and Susan Boyle.
The Beach Boys version
The American rock band the Beach Boys recorded a version that was released as the B-side of their single "Little Saint Nick" on December 2, 1963. It was also released on the 1983 compilation album Rarities.
