The New Breed is the third album by MC Breed. It was released on April 27, 1993 for Wrap Records. The New Breed found decent success, making it to #156 on the Billboard 200 and #17 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, but the album is best known for the hit single "Gotta Get Mine" which featured Tupac Shakur. "Gotta Get Mine" made it to #6 on the Hot Rap Singles, #96 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #61 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks. Another single, "Tight", made it to #19 on the Hot Rap Singles.
