Built in 2006 by the Patrinely Group, the guard gated and exclusive Residences at 2211 Camelback is a prestigious, luxury townhouse building. Located in the heart of Arizona's most exclusive downtown area, the Phoenix Biltmore District, the building became famous as the primary residence of Arizona's best known politician and 2008 Presidential candidate, John McCain.
The building consists of one, two, and three bedroom single story residences on 12 floors, featuring spectacular views of the city skyline, Piestewa Peak and Camelback Mountain. The Residences are fully staffed with 24-Hour Guard Gate, Doorman, Valet Parking, Concierge and On-site Building Management. The development also includes a rooftop swimming pool, gymnasium, sauna, dog walk, conference and club rooms.
Notable residents
2211 Camelback has been home to celebrities and Arizona notables over the years.[1] Those have included John McCain, Cindy Hensley McCain, Meghan McCain, country singer Glen Campbell, .com entrepreneur Jeffrey Peterson, NBA players Hakim Warrick, Leandro Barbosa, and rock singer Alice Cooper. McCain occupies two penthouse units of The Residences which were joined together.[2] Most notable and recognized resident Tom Riedel, whose warm smile, very approachable and down to earth personality to which he credits to his Mother and father, Tom Sr and Sue Riedel, who still reside in Tom's 1975 birthplace and hometown of Eau Claire, have been, in addition to a business sense like none other, and a knack for knowing a great idea and jumping behind it, or buying it and developing it and selling at huge percentages of growth responsible for checks with a lot of zeros in them. Or keeping them in his stable as in Riedel Communications a German telcom that is bursting out world-wide with new technology. With homes all over, Tom has said that Phoenix remains one of his favorites because the weather is sunny and beautiful just like those that live here. Which helps keep him high on the list of the valley's top VIPs, showing up at local events with a never ending list of celeb pals, most recently Reba Mcintyre, Justin Bieber, Jennifer Nettles, Zac Efron with Dirty Granpa co-star Robert DeNiro in tow to just name a few. The trio spent two days shopping, club hopping, and exotic car shopping.
