The Roundhill Academy (formerly Roundhill Community College) is an all through secondary school with academy status in Thurmaston, Leicestershire. The most recent Ofsted inspection report (February 2014) identified the school as "Good" in every category and the academy's work to ensure students are safe as outstanding. "The academy is a harmonious community. A clear ethos of mutual respect exists between adults and students and amongst the students themselves" (Ofsted, February 2014).

The Roundhill Academy is an inclusive school focussed on delivering high quality teaching and learning and insisting on the highest standards of behaviour from students. It is a highly successful, oversubscribed school and is a member of The Bradgate Education Partnership.

The school's mission statement is 'Achieving Success Through Learning Together'. The school wants every student to be the best that they can be, both inside and outside of the classroom.

The vision for the school is for students to be lifelong, reflective learners who develop the skills, values, character and attributes necessary to become global citizens able to meet the demands and challenges of the 21st century.

The school's values are based on the 4Rs that they are developing in all of their students; reflect, respect, resilience and responsibility.

The Roundhill Academy wants students to surpass their academic targets, to be involved in all areas of school life and to thoroughly enjoy their time at school. The enrichment entitlement statement demonstrates the importance they place on this area of the curriculum.

All members of The Roundhill Academy are encouraged to believe in themselves, to engage with their local and the global community and to aspire to achieve their full potential. By believing, engaging and achieving students will succeed at this school and in their future lives.
