Thesprotus (Greek: Θεσπρωτός) the eponymous hero of Thesprotia was a son of Lycaon. Thesprotus' son was Ambrax eponymous of Ambracia.
Thesprotus king of the country where Lake Avernus is said to be, related to the myth of Thyestes and Atreus.
