Thomas Hammock is an American football coach who is the current running backs coach of the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL).

Biography

A native of Jersey City, New Jersey, Hammock was born on July 7, 1981.[1] Hammock is a graduate of Northern Illinois University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. While at Northern Illinois, he played running back on the football team. However, his playing career was cut short due to a heart condition. Hammock is married with one daughter and an infant son.

Coaching career

Hammock began his coaching career at the Wisconsin, serving as a graduate assistant with the Badgers from 2003 to 2004.[2] From 2005 to 2006, he was the running backs coach Northern Illinois. Hammock was then a member of the Minnesota Golden Gophers staff from 2007 to 2010, first serving as running backs coach before spending his final season as co-offensive coordinator.

On February 5, 2014, the Baltimore Ravens hired Hammock as the new Running Backs coach.
