Tolga Bozacı (born January 24, 1998) is a Turkish ice hockey goaltender. Currently, he plays in the Turkish Ice Hockey Super League (TBHSL) for Zeytinburnu Belediyespor. He was part of the Turkey U-18 and Turkey U-20 teams, before he became a member of the Turkey men's national ice hockey team. The 1.70 m (5 ft 7 in) tall goalie at 70 kg (150 lb) catches left.[1][2]
Playing career
Club
Bozacı began his ice hockey career playing in the 2013–14 Turkish Ice Hockey U-18 League for the juniors team of Kocaeli BB Kağıt SK.[3] The next season, he adcanced to the seniors' team of the same club.[1]
For the 2015–16 season, he transferred to Zeytinburnu Belediyespor in Istanbul,[4] and enjoyed champion title.[5][6]
International
Bozacı played for the Turkey U-18 team at the IIHF World U18 Championships in 2015 in Auckland, New Zealand and 2016 in Sofia, Bulgaria.[1]
He took part at the 2016 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships – Division III matches held in Mexico City, Mexico as a member of the Turkey U-20 team.[1]
In 2016, he was part of the Turkey men's national ice hockey team to play at the IIHF World Championship Division III in Istanbul, Turkey.[1][7][8][6]
