Thomas "Tom" Hughes (1892–23 May 1915) was an English professional football inside left who played in the Football League for Newcastle United.[1]
Personal life
Hughes served as a corporal in the Royal Northumberland Fusiliers during the First World War and was killed in West Flanders on 23 May 1915.[2] He is commemorated on the Menin Gate.[2]
