Thomas William Wright Killiby (1897-1963) was an Australian rugby league player of the 1920s . He was pioneer player in Sydney with the St George Dragons club at their foundation.
Career
Born in Sydney, Tom Killiby was a foundation player for the St George Dragons and a long-time resident of Sans Souci, New South Wales . He played ten seasons at the club between 1921-1930 and 1933-34. A prop forward, Tom Killiby played in the Saints' first Final appearance in 1927.
He was a trainer for the Dragons' 1941 premiership winning side and also trained New South Wales representative teams during the 1940s and 1950s. [1]
Tom Killiby died on 1 October 1963, aged 65 and is buried at Woronora Cemetery, Sutherland. [2]
