Tony Grey (born March 25, 1975 in Newcastle, England) is an English bass player,[1][2] composer, producer and music educator who is best known for being a long-time member of pianist Hiromi's trio. Grey has recorded several times with Hiromi and also with Fabrizio Sotti, Kelly Buchanon, Karyshma, and John McLaughlin.[3]He has also released several albums as leader. Grey is the nephew of jazz guitarist John McLaughlin.[1] He uses a Tony Grey Monarch model bass.[4]
