Trance blues

Trance blues is a subgenre of blue music defined as blues music with an electronic component—examples could be loops, drum machines, or samples. The genre originated in the late 2000s. Trance blues artists have included Tangle Eye,[1] Skip James,[2] Otis Taylor,[3][4][5] and RL Burnside.[6] The Trance Blues Jam Fest is held annually in Boulder, Colorado,[7] and has been played in Memphis, Tennessee music venues.[8]
