Transport for Victoria is a future statutory authority responsible for the planning, coordination, and operation of the transport system in Victoria, Australia, gaining responsibilities from Public Transport Victoria and VicRoads.[1] The organisation is expected to become operational at the end of 2016.[2][3]

History

The formation of Transport for Victoria was announced on 27 June 2016, by Jacinta Allan, Minister for Public Transport, and Luke Donnellan, Minister for Roads.[2][3]
