Trevor Wittman

Trevor Wittman (born March 5, 1974 in Denver, Colorado) is an American boxing and MMA trainer.[1][2]

Training career

Trevor is the owner of T's KO Fight Club/Gym in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.[3] Trevor also just opened up Grudge Training Center in Denver, Colorado.[4] He was one of the Trainers that Rashad Evans brought in for the UFC's show The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights.[5] In one of the episodes he chewed out fighter Roy Nelson for not taking his training seriously and challenged him with “Do you want to get knocked out again?” bringing up the heavyweights loss to Andrei Arlovski at EliteXC: Heat.[6]

On working with Shane Carwin, Trevor said, "I remember in amateur boxing days you’d get hit by the Mexican fighters and it didn’t look like they were throwing them technically correct at all, but man when they hit you, you were like, “What the heck?” He’s just born with that power man. There’s just some things you can teach to make people hit harder, but you can’t teach natural power like Shane has. He was just born genetically strong."[7]

Personal life

Trevor began boxing after training in karate and would fall in love with boxing. A lung injury from boxing forced him to retire but he now trains fighters.[8]
