Tsadra Foundation

Tsadra Foundation is a U.S.-based nonprofit organization.[1] Founded in New York City in 2000,[2] the foundation offers programs and scholarships to develop and nurture Tibetan Buddhism in the west.[2] Lama Drupgyu Tenzin (Drupgyu Anthony Chapman), a student of Kalu Rinpoche, is the director of programs.[3][4]

One of the foundation's aims is to make authentic and authoritative texts from the Tibetan traditions available in English[1] and as such has published a series of biographies and Gsung-'bum in conjunction with Snow Lion Publications.[1]

The foundation's name comes from Jamgön Kongtrül hermitage called Tsa’dra Rinchen Drak.[5] It was here that Jamgön Kongtrül wrote his Five Great Treasuries.[6]
