Turnberry Isle Resort and Club is a luxury resort in the city of Aventura, Florida, which is near Miami. It features Robert Trent Jones designed golf courses, a spa, tennis facilities, and restaurants.

History

The resort was developed by Donald Soffer, Mark E. Mason, Eugene Lebowitz and Edward J. Lewis of Oxford Development, who are responsible for several other projects in the area, including Aventura Mall and residential developments. Until August 2011 it was operated by Fairmont Hotels and Resorts.[1] Since late 2012 the resort has been operated by Marriott as part of their Autograph Collection Hotels.[2]
