Turtle Creek (Kerr County, Texas)

Turtle Creek is a creek that rises five miles north of Bandera County in Kerr County, Texas (USA). It runs 24.5 miles (39.4 km) to the Guadalupe River, 6 miles (10 km) southeast of Kerville.[1]

Charles Schreiner, Sr., "father of the Texas Hill Country" and Kerrville businessman, engaged in cattle ranching at Turtle Creek in the late nineteenth century.[2]
