Tyyne Leivo-Larsson
Tyyne Lilja Leivo-Larsson (née Lindroos; 3 March 1902, Uusikirkko Vpl – 1 August 1977) was a Finnish office worker, politician and diplomat. She served as Deputy Minister of Social Affairs from 29 July 1948 to 4 March 1949, Minister of Social Affairs from 4 March 1949 to 17 March 1950 and again from 5 May to 20 October 1954, Deputy Minister of Social Affairs from 20 October 1954 to 17 May 1957, Minister of Social Affairs from 17 May to 27 May 1957, Deputy Prime Minister from 26 April to 29 August 1958 and Deputy Minister of Social Affrairs from 2 May to 29 August 1958. She was a member of the Parliament of Finland, representing the Social Democratic Party of Finland (SDP) from 1948 to 1958 and the Social Democratic Union of Workers and Smallholders (TPSL) from 1966 to 1970. She was Ambassador of Finland to Norway from 1958 to 1965 and Ambassador to Iceland from 1959 to 1965.[1]
