U.S. Gran Prix of Cyclocross

The US Gran Prix of Cyclocross was an American UCI-sanctioned four weekend, eight race cyclo-cross series that ran from 2009 until 2012, comprising the Planet Bike Cup - Madison, Wisconsin, The Derby City Cup - Louisville, Kentucky; The New Belgium Cup - Fort Collins, Colorado; and The Deschutes Brewery Cup - Bend, Oregon. The series struggled financially and after obtaining an eleventh hour reprieve from sponsors for the 2012 season, the race officially folded amid significant financial despair on April 19, 2013. During its four-year tenure, the race attracted numerous domestic amateur and professional riders.
