The United States Basketball Writers Association National Player of the Year Award is an award given by the United States Basketball Writers Association to best women's college basketball player since season 1987-88.[1] From 2012, the award is named "The Ann Meyers Drysdale Award" in honor of former UCLA four-time All-American player.
