The Uniqa Insurance Group AG (corporately styled "UNIQA") is the parent company of one of the largest Austrian insurance groups, the Uniqa Group. The company operates as an administrative and indirect business sales organization for the operating insurance companies of the group and is a central reinsurer. The corporate headquarters is located in the Uniqa Tower in Vienna, Austria.
In 2016 Uniqa Versicherungsverein Privatstiftung acquired 17.64% stake of Uniqa Insurance Group from Raiffeisen Zentralbank.[1]
