Utthita Ekapadasana
Utthita Ekapadasana is a Yoga Asana. It is translated as Extended One Leg Pose from Sanskrit.
The name of this pose comes from "utthita" meaning "extended", "eka" meaning "one", "pada" meaning "foot", and "asana" meaning "posture" or "seat".[1]
Benefits and Cautions
This pose has the following benefits: it strengthens the legs and lower abdominals and promotes sense of balance.
