Vamshi Paidipally (also Vamshi) (Telugu: పైడిపల్లి వంశీ) (born 25 July 1979) is a Tollywood film director who is known for directing the films Brindavanam (2010)[1] and Yevadu (2014).[2]

Earlier Life

Vamshi Paidipally (పైడిపల్లి వంశీ) was born to a Telugu Velama Community family in Nirmal district, Telangana, India. Since his childhood he has been fascinated by films. His father had a theatre in his district so he grew up in the atmosphere of theatre. He did his schooling in Hyderabad Public School, and his (10+2) from Little Flower junior college.He then completed Bachelor's in commerce and a Master's in Computer Applications(MCA) From Badruka Educational society. He quit his software job and got into films as an assistant director for the film Eeswar (2002) and worked as an associate director for Varsham, Mass and Bhadra and had his debut as a Director with Munna starring Prabhas in 2007 and Brindaavanam in 2010, Yevadu in 2013 and his latest Blockbuster Oopiri in March 2016. He is married to Malini and has a Daughter.

Reception

Paidipally's first film, Munna, was a flop at the box office, while Brindavanam was a hit.[1] Yevadu was one of the top grossing Tollywood films of 2014.[3]
