Vaso Radić (1923 – 18 December 2011) was a Bosnian and Yugoslav politician who served as the Mayor of Sarajevo from 1963 to 1965 and Yugoslav General Consul in West Germany from 1967 to 1969. After retiring he worked as an author and publicist. [1] He was a holder of the Commemorative Medal of the Yugoslav Partisans [2] and was one of the founders of FK Sarajevo, being named chairman in 1957. [3] As an ethnic Serb, he survived the Siege of Sarajevo. [4]
Vaso Radić died on 18 December 2011 and is buried in Sarajevo. [5]
