Victor Ehrenberg (22 November 1891 – 25 January 1976) was a German historian.
Ehrenberg was born in Altona, Hamburg. He was the younger brother of Hans Ehrenberg and the nephew of the jurist Victor Ehrenberg.[1]
He served in the German Army on the Western Front during World War I and was awarded the Iron Cross, 2nd Class.[2]
Ehrenberg was married to Eva Dorothea Ehrenberg, née Sommer (1891–1964). He was the father of Geoffrey and Lewis Elton, and grandfather of Ben Elton.
He died, aged 84, in London.
