Background
Victoria Haralabidou (Greek: Βικτώρια Χαραλαμπίδου, born 23 October 1971), is a Greek actress. She was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia. When she was 15 years old, her family moved to Athens, Greece. In 2005, she moved to Sydney, Australia, where she currently lives.
Stage
Her acting credits include Dear Elena, a contemporary Russian play by Liudmila Razumovskaya (Best Actress award 2001), Curse of the Starving Class by Sam Shepard.
Film
A feature film Nyfes (Best Actress Award – Thessaloniki Film Festival 2005), a Martin Scorsese production which was released in Australia by Palace Cinemas in September 2005. She appeared in two films in 2009, Blessed in Australia and Psyhi vathia in Greece.
Television
Her television credits include Suddenly, a drama series for Mega Channel in Greece.
- In 2008, she appeared in the drama series East West 101 on SBS, All Saints on the Seven Network, The Strip on the Nine Network and telemovie The Informant for Network Ten.
- In 2009, she appeared in soap opera Home and Away as Jody Walker and the children's television series My Place on ABC3.
- In 2011, she returned to Home and Away to once again portray Jody Walker.
- In 2016, she starred as Danny's mother in an ABC television adaptation of Christos Tsiolkas's Barracuda.
- 2016 she is Dr. Matti Bekker on the 3rd season HBO tv Series The Leftovers.
