Vieussens valve of the coronary sinus

The Vieussens valve of the coronary sinus is a valve and anatomic landmark between the coronary sinus and the great cardiac vein. It is often a flimsy valve composed of one to three leaflets found in 80% to 90% of people. It is clinically important because it is often an obstruction to catheters in 20% of patients.[1][2]
